Dating and browse sites
Note that hiding your profile not only keeps non-members from viewing you, but keeps you out of all search results.
What exactly happens is , if i'm browsing the forums sometimes i might click on a profile on their avatars.
You can only browse profiles so long without it trying to get you to register or login. Cowboy As the other posters have tried to explain, forum login is separate to profile login. Within the three or four profile view limit, you will still get the login screen if the person's profile is hidden. If i click on Ms taken i get the main sign up page.
You can see any forum poster's profile by clicking "View Profile" for up to three or four (while NOT log into the profile side). Now if i log in and go back to the forum i can see ms taken's profile.
But sometimes it won't let me see the profile unless i log in on the main website.
Reason i thought it was some sort of setting is because it's only a few profiles it happens to as most of them can be viewed without logging in... I'll be logged into the forums, but not necessarily logged into my profile account.
Your profile can be viewed from the "Forum" side if you have posted on a thread.
